Admiral Ackbar- Loose Minifigure

I was going to get a $25 Star Wars set solely for the Han Solo and Admiral Ackbar figures, but I instead decided to buy Ackbar loose from ebay.  I later got Han in the Microbuilders set 75030 Millennium Falcon.  As of now, aside from that $25 dollar set, the only other set Ackbar appears is in a $110 set.  The Admiral Ackbar key chain stopped selling in 2011, so while I don't like buying loose, incomplete things, ebay was my best way to get the figure without falling into a price trap.

5002889- DK's Batman Visual Dictionary

I never liked any of the Batman sets enough to purchase, but I was happy to buy this book since I'm always interested in pictures of cute sets and love the Batman minifigure that came with it.  As typical in the DK Lego licensed-theme books, the front cover is a thick cardboard containing an exclusive minifigure.  So, the book may seem twice as long as they actually are, but all the DK Lego books I've gotten have never disappointed.

The Padawan Menace- Young Han Solo

This little Star Wars guy came with the Blu-ray version of  the 22 minute animation The Padawan Menace.  As he is a licensed character, he is flesh coloured.  Little Han sports mini light-brown legs, a  wrinkled white shirt print on his torso, swoopy dark brown hair, and a fitting smug Han Solo expression.  Adorable.

Holiday Figure Collection (custom)

This is just a little collection I've created from several of the Lego minifigure series.  It currently contains The Tooth Fairy (8833-9 Series 8), a Leprechaun (8827-9 Series 6), the Easter Bunny (8831-3 Series 7), a Man-Bat (8833-11 Series 8), and Santa (8833-10 Series 8).  I know, The Tooth Fairy isn't really a holiday, but she is a special character in our lives that we get stuff from, and isn't that what holidays are about?  :P

There are certainly a few more holidays out there that the future minifigure series' can address and I hope they do so.
