I primarily bought this set because I wanted Pirates set with Captain Jack, since he is so awesome. So, this set accomplished that and have me a handful of interesting pieces to use on other projects. See below for back of box picture (and many other pictures).
Included in the box is a free promo poster for the Lego Pirates of the Caribbean game (click to enlarge). Nice poster with Captain Jack on one side (see below) and loads of additional characters on the other. I played the DS version of the game for a brief period and it seemed as good as any Lego game, probably more so if you love the movies. The best thing about the game is that Captain Jack actually runs like Captain Jack. You know, hilariously with his back arched and arms swinging oddly.
This set comes with Lego Captain Jack and two henchmen, complete with weapons. If the henchmen have proper names, I apologize for not knowing them, as I mainly watched the films to see Jack run and say "savvy" all the time. The set also comes with a stand with ships in a bottle, a small table with a map, and a globe stand.
Our loved Captain comes with a reversible head and print on the back of his torso, so be sure to check images below for that. His hair piece is very detailed, showing the beads and bandanna he wears. He comes with a sword and a printed tile of a compass, which we happily get an extra of.
Henchman..er...one also has a double-sided head and a bit of detail printed on the torso back. Look at the eyes and missing teeth on the one side. Very well done. He comes with a sword and a brown gun, so he's extra deadly.
The second henchman is bald, so no opportunity for a reversible head, but his torso print makes up for it. He looks really ripped and you can faintly see some of his tattoos. Some of these markings are on his head and the ones on the back of his head resemble a face. He not only carries a sword but also an over the shoulder hilt...thing. It took me a while to figure out how to get it on him and in the end, he's walking around with a sword poking out behind him, so I'm not sure how good the hilt piece is.
The stand for the ships in a bottle is an interesting model and it has the right colours and details like bones to make it more Pirates-y. I adore the ships in a bottle and they were reason number two on getting this set. For a close-up of one of the bottles, see below.
Next up, we have Lego Kane beside the globe and globe stand. Simple build, and it's made so that the globe actually spins. I love the colour and the detail on the globe and you can look at the additional images section to see the other side of the globe.
Lastly, the set comes with a table containing a gold cup, a torch, and a map. You can see a close-up of the map below. The table legs are made of skeleton legs, which is a nice touch. The table also spins.
