8827- Minifigures Series 6

I own 11 of the 16 collectible minifigures in this set.  See below for back of leaflet image.

Highland Battler (2)- This was a mystery purchase from London.  Comes with long hair, sword, and shield.  His outfit has some plaid and buckle details.  Until recently, I thought he was just a typical fighting guy.  It doesn't seem that obvious to me where he is suppose to be from, but I've placed him in my Lego Small World (LSW) collection anyway.

Lady Liberty (4)- Ebay purchase for my LSW collection, of course helping to represent the United States.  She comes with 1x2 flat tile with a print that reads "July IV MDCCLXXVI" and torch.  Sadly, my tile features a small bite mark, but it was an ebay purchase, afterall.  I know that I have her holding the items in the wrong hands, but deal with it.  :P  She is all in statue green, and her dress piece and torso feature printed dress detail.  Her crown piece is nicely detailed and made of a more bendable material than typically used for hair/hat pieces.  For back of crown and tile accessory detail, see image below.

Bandit (5)- This was a mystery gift.  Comes with cowboy hat, handkerchief, and two pistols.  I really like his outfit, which features multiple belts and rounds of bullets slinged around him.  It's also nice that they gave two pistols instead of just one because it makes him look even tougher.  His hat is more detailed and appears more realistic from other cowboy hats I've seen.  For the time being, he is also homeless.

Flamenco Dancer (6)- This was another mystery gift.  She comes with a dress, special hair, and a fan.  I don't really like the mark on her face, but I prefer plain smiling faces to begin with.  Because of her fan, I originally thought she was meant to be a geisha.  The dress piece idea is a good idea in general, but I think they should've come up with a way to make the fact that the dress is ruffly more obvious.  Still, I've added her to my LSW collection.

Minotaur (8)- This was a mystery purchase from London.  Comes with special head and axe.  There is no typical minifigure head piece under what you see.  On his body, you can see he has a little bull-man 6 pack going on.  His axe is in two parts, with the blade being detachable, which makes it a little more interesting.  I like the horns on this minifigure, but that's about all.  Just not my kind of thing.  As he is a creature from Greek Mythology, I've decided to use him in my LSW collection.

Leprechaun (9)- This was an ebay purchase.  This little guy has small legs and comes with a special hat and pot of gold.  He has a nice little green suit on, complete with gold buckle and a clover in his lapel.  The gold in his pot is made up of 3 round studs.  Absolutely had to get this for my LSW collection, and he can also be used in the little Holiday Figure collection I've recently started.

Surgeon (11)- Another ebay purchase.  Comes with cap, needle, and x-ray.  The blue scrubs work well and even appear a little wrinkled.  The accessories really made this figure fantastic.  I love that needle.  I hope that in the next couple years, the Lego Group comes out with a good hospital that this person can work at.  For now, the figure rides around in 4431- Ambulance, always ready to do some emergency surgery when needed.

Comes with different legs.
Skater girl (12)-  Another ebay purchase.  Comes with skateboard.  I can't remember if she also came with a baseplate.  I like her fun pink-streaked hair and hoodied torso.  I love when they use Lego in Lego things, like the Lego skeleton head printed on her shirt.  I solely purchased this so I could use her legs on a custom figure I was making, so what's pictured are not her original legs.

Comes with different gun topper.
Intergalactic girl (13)- London mystery purchase.  Comes with helmet, gun, and hair.  I like her silver lipstick.  I wasn't too fond of the long stick coming from her gun, so I placed a small circle stud there instead.  My first impression (probably because she came with hair) was that the gun more resembled a hair dryer.  I also like that hair she comes with as she can wear it if she is off-duty.  She is another homeless figure.

Mechanic (15)- Mystery gift.  Comes with special hair, toolbox, and wrench (spanner).  This guy isn't pictured. His thick, poofy hair reminds me of John Travolta's character in Greece.  I really like the toolbox he has (does not open) and that his head and dark blue jumpsuit outfit have oil splatters.  See below for torso detail.

Genie (16)- Ebay purchase for LSW collection.  Comes with jeweled turban, lamp, and special leg piece.  I'm undecided if I like the genie's leg piece.  I like how wispy it makes him look and this narrowness allows him to sit atop his lamp (although very unstable) as if he just came out of it.  For stability, I would have preferred something akin to the Ocean King's (8831-5 Series 7) leg piece.  For aesthetic purposes, the genie's leg piece is  is perfect the way it is.  This turban is the same one seen on Professor Quirrell, although his is a different colour and sans jewel/gold bit.  That little piece fits nicely into the turban, though because he is a genie, I would have expected something a bit more shiny.  I'm very happy with his blue body colour (though I don't know why his hands are gold).  The lamp is cute but I think it should have been a little bit bigger and with a longer handle as it can't move very much within the minifigure's hand.  Overall, he is a nice little character, just could use with some minor improvements.
