I was very happy to see this little City plane up for sale, as the airport planes are a bit pricey for me at the moment. Aside from the model plane in 31001-Mini Skyflyer, the only other plane I have is from the 1996 set 6331-Patriot Jet, which is something of a stunt plane as well. See additional images below for back of box.
This set comes with a stickered stunt plane, a tool cart, and 2 minifigures. See below for picture of sticker sheet.
The sunglassed pilot has a flight suit torso only seen in one other set so far. It's printed with the words "Airborne Spoilers" on the front and back with a propeller type logo on the front. Pretty slick, and the red and yellow colour scheme matches his helmet and the bricks and sticker detail on the plane.
This is the part where you see how awful I am at describing planes. I really like the colours and the overall old plane look of it. The cockpit is encased in a bubble and is little more than a steering wheel. Underneath the plane are three wheels, the last at the back and not covered in any rubber, which makes it sound a bit rough rolling on the ground. However, you can pretend that's just the noise of the engine. The tail is a simple construction made more interesting with stickers. In the front of the plane is a speedy black propeller and a nice looking dark grey motor. The size of the plane is great for little hands and the overall design is functional and visually pleasing.
My favorite part of the plane are the black and white checkered stickers. They remind me of a plane I saw in a war museum, and so these stickers probably heavily influenced my purchase. The stickers are all along the main part of the plane on both sides, and two of them on the front feature the plane's set number "60019".
The little yellow cart has several lights on it, as well as a red and white striped sticker. Two of these lights can be rotated on the cart to shine in various places, or taken off and held in the hand as a flashlight. In the back of the cart is a box with 4 attached tools. To help us keep our plane fit, we have a walkie talkie, a spanner/wrench, a red fire extinguisher, and an axe type tool. See below for an extra picture. The construction of the cart keeps low to the ground, and I can easily imagine something quite like this at any airport.
We get a number of extras fitting for the price of the set. The best one being an extra set of head phones, but these can only be put on hats that have a hole on top.
