3061- City Park Cafe

I'm not too fond of the flamboyancy of the Friends sets in general, but it's not too common to see these everyday life sets in the City theme, so this was really welcome.  Compared to normal sets of this size though, this was a bit simplistic to put together.  Lots of stickers are used and you can see the sheet below.  The mini-dolls in this set are of Andrea and Marie (not pictured).  Andrea is wearing a pink top and a pink skirt.  Marie has a orange top and a light blue skirt.  See below for an image of the back of the box.

This set comes with a cafe and small outdoor area.  Inside the cafe is a table and seating area, condiment table, sink, oven, full set of kitchenware, milkshake machine, pie display case, and cash register.  The outdoor area features many flowers, a small table with two stools, and food.

The outdoor seating area comes with a multicoloured flower cluster, decorated fence area, two stools, and a small table.  The food on the table is a strawberry cupcake, a strawberry milkshake, a chocolate cupcake, and a chocolate milkshake.  Below, you can find another view of the outdoor area.

From the front of the cafe, you can see a flowerbed with three multicoloured flower clusters, and glass covered display case.  Some of the stickers visible here are the milkshake on the window, the "open" sign on the front door, and the large "cafe" sign on top. On one side of the cafe, there is holder for a Lego push broom   See images below for side views of the cafe.

Full view of the back of the cafe.

The cafe is full of cute things, but my favourite is the chocolate and strawberry milkshake dispenser.

The Lego sandwich we get appears to be a cheeseburger with lettuce. Also on the table is a carton of orange juice, with sticker.

On this side of the cafe, we have another sticker, indicating the prices of various foods.  Our kitchen area comes with a nice sink and oven/stove (and plenty of dishes).

The condiment area is very cute with salt and pepper shakers and mustard and ketchup containers.

The yellow kitchenware set comes with three plates, three cupcake holders, a mixer, frying pan, baking pan, spatula, three forks, and three knives.  I love the idea of Lego utensils  and this kitchenware set was probably one of the big motivating factors of getting this set.

The extras aren't really too exciting, but we do get a lot of round studs and a few cheese wedges.  In addition, I got two extra sticker sheets.
